Bad News for Robot Ops iOS Release
Looks like the iOS release for Robot Ops will be delayed indefinitely. The reason for this is that the game is only compatible with OpenGL 2.0, and that graphics library is deprecated on new iOS devices. I can't build the game on iOS without some tools that are not yet available. I'll keep myself updated on when the updated tools become available, but for now, there won't be a Robot Ops iPhone release.
While this news is disappointing to me, I see it as confirmation that I need to move onto the next project. I already have the initial concepts done for my first Unreal engine game, which will be a "mini open world" format. I was inspired by the overworld and level design of Bowser's Fury, and so I'm going to do something like that for my next game.
