Balloon Ghost Prototype Development Continues
I spent a little time today working on the prototype for Balloon Ghost. I have a good handful of levels that prove the basic concept of "short and sweet" with increasing difficulty between levels. The challenge now is that I need to start coding again to get all the new types of obstacles in the game that will make it really fun. The key to this game is that the levels have to feel active. There must always be something to do and changes in the platform positioning while avoiding enemies, traps, and obstacles. So far, it's good enough for me to decide to continue. Unfortunately, to really see how the game will turn out, I will have to invest much more time in building out the basic hazards in the game. However, I'm optimistic that it won't take too much time and that the results will be fruitful.
