First Day Back at the Gym
I went back to the gym today. It was the first day back after 10 days. I went back at 80% of my normal weights, and it felt better than expected. I still could tell that I wasn't quite up to 100%, though.
The reason I went back is because I decided it was time for the sickness to be over. The symptoms are largely gone, but there remains a profound tiredness which I've never felt before. That said, there will never be a time when I feel "ready" after this sickness. I simply have to get back out there and get back to work.
Tomorrow, I hope to add working on my game to the list of things I'm returning to after being sick for over a week.
