I Miss Couch Co-Op
It may seem as though my video game tastes are childish - I enjoy Mario, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and other Nintendo games - but it's just a matter of not having any other couch co-op games to play.
I know there are a ton, but back in my day, we played GoldenEye. At least we had shooters to play back then. Now, the only options left are games that look like kid's Pixar movies.
I play them for the fun and the ability to play with other people in the same living room. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I still enjoy getting together in person with other human beings.
All modern AAA games with mature settings and characters have been confined to online co-op only. It's a huge loss. In particular, I miss the excitement of Halo 3 splitscreen.
Hopefully, more games will be created with couch co-op in mind.
