Morale Improves, Beatings Continue
I'm feeling much more optimistic during the day now, as the fever seems to have completely disappeared. It is relieved of its post by a cough and a sore throat, both of which are occassionally more than just annoying background noise. Right now, in particular, the cough is present, and it sometimes elevates itself to the level of a fit.
I say all this because I'm now left with only the cold symptoms of this sickness. The more flu-like symptoms have been defeated, but the simpler cold symptoms have risen in their place like weeds. Now I'm suffering in a more comical way; throat pain has been replaced with throat tickles.
Today marks day 5 of my body's healing, so I hope this period of cleansing is almost near its healthy conclusion.
